When I saw your photo, I stopped dead in my tracks. How many of these did I see last summer outside Morgantown, WV….plenty. I wish I had taken some of your subject when I had a chance. Nice photo.
Linda, thanks for stopping by and reading. We also saw many coal mines on or trip. The reason she took the picture is because my Grandmother was in the front seat telling the kids stories about growing up in WV and how her Dad and many others worked in the mines. We have a few good pictures of this one mine in particular!
