Visiting Annie Moore

While in Cobh, one of the things one my list was to see the statue of Annie Moore and her bothers. I have pictures of her statue on Ellis Island and I wanted to make sure I got pictures of her in Cobh as well. There is no real reason behind my wanting these pictures. I just wanted to make sure I had a complete set of pictures relating to Annie.

It could very well be that I just wanted them because her story touches me. She was a young girl that traveled to America, with her two brothers, with no parents. I dare not even try to write her story, for Megan Smolenyak has done the research and does a wonderful job telling Annie’s story.
