March Happenings in Chicago

February was a busy month! Between getting ready for Rootstech, attending and then recovering from it. I was exhausted for weeks. Now that I am back in the swing of things I am getting ready for a few things that are happening in March.

Chicago Genealogical Society and Newberry Library are welcoming D. Joshua Taylor on March 7th. It is a full day event and though it is free, a ticket is needed for entrance. Tickets were ‘sold’ out weeks ago. Unfortunately, no walk ins will be allowed in. It just shows how popular Josh and genealogy are! I cannot wait.

I am also preparing for my big lecture, A Journey to the ole’ sod…How I traced my family to Ireland and ways you can too, at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library on March 14th at 10am. Registration is now open on the AHML website.

I am super excited to share my story at AHML. Everyone’s journey is different and we can all learn from one another.
