It’s in the Mail

At the end of last year I wrote a few posts about a few people finally deciding they would submit to a DNA test for me. I am excited to say that both tests have been mailed back to the labs. I now patiently await the results.

The first test was mailed on 8 Feb 2013, this one was the Y-DNA test from my O’Connell male relative, the test we are using is the FtDNA.

On 11 Feb 2013, I mailed in a 23 and Me test that will look into my husband’s family, this test was graciously taken by one of his siblings.

I am eager to see the results on both of the tests and cannot wait to see if we will be lucky enough to find a few matches and to see what else it can tell us.
