Q. I cannot read the magazine, what is wrong?
A. There could be a few reasons for this, first please make sure you are logged in. If that does not resolve the problem, it could be that your subscription has expired. If you renew your subscription you will get instant access to the magazine and our archives.
Q. The social media icons on the left hand side cover your webpage, and I find them annoying. What can I do?
A. If you hover over the social media bar, go just past the last square. Once there you should find a double blue arrow. Click on the arrow and this will hide the social media bar.
Q. How do I download the magazine?
A. On the ‘Digital Magazine‘ page, click on the image of the magazine, this will open another page where you can read the magazine or download. To download, scroll all the way down until you see “Download a Low Resolution PDF of the magazine HERE.” Click on ‘Here.’
Q. How do I subscribe to get a print edition monthly.
A. Unfortunately, we do not offer a print subscription. We have two options for you:
You can purchase a PDF each month from our ‘Shop IDG‘ page.
You can purchase our compilations for each year, also on our ‘Shop IDG‘ page.
Q. I am interested in writing for The In-Depth Genealogist, what should I do?
A. We are always interested in those that would like to write for us. Please see the ‘Call for Writers‘ page for more information.
Q. I am interested in purchasing ad space, who should I talk to?
A. Please see our “Advertise on IDG‘ page.
Q. I have requested a new password and did not get it. What should I do?
A. Please check your spam folder, the email you are looking for comes from S2. S2 is the program we use for our subscription database.
