Availability of Irish Church Records Online

When it comes to Irish church records there is one question that you often hear. What is available? Today while spending a few minutes on RootsIreland, I found a section where you put the County you are interested in and they give you the time frame records are available based on the religious denomination, parish and type of record. To check this out, click here.

I have not been able to find any new records for my O’Connell line on RootsIreland so I do not spend a large amount of time there. I just found a new connection to Northern Ireland, and wanted to see what records were available for me to go through. Unfortunately, the family is in the 1600s so no church records are available online, according to this website (and research I did for my lecture too).
